Started the day at sunrise in the town of Ponce Inlet. I launched my kayak, paddled about 200 yards and started tossing a Zara Spook Jr. with a few swirls but no hook ups.
After the sun got a little higher in the sky I switch to a Berkely Gulp Alive Shrimp and that changed my luck!
In the following hour I landed 2 slot redfish (one 22” and one 18.5”) 2 under slot trout and a 15” flounder. Not a bad hour!
I had things to take care of in real life so I was off the water by 10:30am.
