1,000 Islands is found in the city of Cocoa Beach on the east bank of the Banana River. The area gets its name from the multiple mangrove islands that are found in the area. The name is similar to 10,000 Islands, an area found in South West Florida, but other than its name and multiple mangrove islands they are very different areas.

  • 1-2 Miles south of the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop
